As the Indian Cricket team has won the ODI series in SriLanka, the same old debate about how the fab 4 of Indian cricket, Sachin, Sourav, Rahul & Laxman should retire will begin. While I cant say about the last 3 but Sachin should definatly not retire. All those so called opinion builders who haven't gripped anything basides pen or mike are talking that OLD Sachin is no more a formidable force.
I have a different opinion, just because he failed in one series you can not term him an oldy considering opposition had Sanath Jaisurya who is 39, besides Mahela Jayawardhane said that his think tank specially planned for The Famous Fab 4 for that series, this once again underlines their significance. Oh and those of you who think Sachin should only be the part of test team & not the ODIs, remember the last ODI series which our YOUNG team won was thanks to Sachin's brillient two final innings, so those media persons who think Sachin should retire, I have an advice for them, SHUT UP.

India's Show at Olympics
India is about to complete its most successfull olympics ever, with 3 medals. Thats quite an acheivement considering our poor run for years at this stage.
But I dont understand why cricket is blamed for our failure at the other games ( significant like syncronised diving and syncronised swimming, how many people consider it a sport? ). The reason I think that cricket is so popular in our country is that we can fairly compete at international level in this games & the no. of world class players we have produced. As far as other sports are considered, think wisely and without biaseness, can we compete with that pride as we can in cricket? I am not talking about winning, I am talking about simply competing. Now dont start argueing about how our govt. is ignorant and all that, its plain truth that people only talk about the winner & for instance the one who bowed out with a fair competition. Indians are far away from that tag except for cricket. And when I talk about giving a competition consider this fact for example, the Fastest woman in world completes her 100 m run in somewhat 10 & a half sec, the record for same in India for the same distance for men is 10 & half sec exactly.
I love my country and I am proud to be an Indian. I am also confident that some day this will change and we will also compete & win at international level, but till then accept the fact and stop blaming cricket for the miserable state of other sports in country.
And oh yes enjoy the euphoria and some illusion that we r the world champs that media has created. Congrats Abhinav Sushil & Vijender, you all made us proud.

Totally Blank
HI Everyone,
Today is that kind of day when I get totally blank, nothing to say just writting anything & trying hard to think anything to write, but then being blank once in a while helps me.
You know what, this is also fun, just sit totally blank for 5 min. you'll understand how hard it is not to think about anything. Just in a min. or so you'll find yourself thinking about something relevant or irrelevant. Your girlfriend, family, your boss, or anything under the sun ( or for that matter under the shade also), so try this once.
And to emphasise my point see how much I've written when I said I was totally blank. Got the point?

Now that I am busy with the work I may not blog often but, still i will try. Till then chao guys.
