Food for thought

There is this trend in India, people think that we need a dictator to solve the problems like corruption, indiscipline etc. I just laugh when I hear them say this. After all the struggle our forefathers have been through to achieve this freedom, we just want to throw it away.

I laugh at people’s naivety, they really think that one person given the power to rule the entire country will spend his time persuading people to follow traffic signals, stop bribing officials etc. Do you really think Hitler spent his time in all this? No he waged a war upon an entire continent. He killed people, many of them.

The other thought that crosses my mind is that The British have done a fantastic job in enslaving our minds. We want someone to tell us what to do. Even if it’s a right thing to do. I mean why would I want somebody to tell me what to do. Hey get this straight, I’ll follow traffic signals if I want to, and I’ll bribe an official to get my work done in time.

You see, with great power comes great responsibility, which people refuse in real world. They accept it only in super hero movies. The democracy has given us a great power. To think for ourselves, choose what we want and if it’s a wrong choice correct it after five years. But we are not only refusing the responsibility to choose, we also want to throw this power of democracy away.

Please guys, think for a minute or like we like to do, for an hour or two. This democracy is not just a gift, but a great power; which we should use wisely and if we can’t do it, then at least don’t think of throwing it away, just keep using it.

Wow

Hey yet another exam guy's, this time I think the subjects are much easier than the last sem. But never the less you have to study, and i'm gonna do the same. But the main thing is, my bro Yateen has started his old hobby (may I say), Poetry. And the one he posted on his blog is just amazing. Way to go bro........ I'm following his blog, suggest others should also follow him. Till next post, Ciao guys.

One question

Guys, one of my acquintenses asked me this question, see if you have answer for this. 'What is it in your life that you would die for?'.
Now even before you start let me tell you the criterias for answering this question. Dont tell me that you would die for your family, friends, love or money. Everyone here dies for one of them or all of them. It's one idea or thought or something like that, that you would die for.
For example, lets say Einstien might would have given his life for theory of relativity (Its just an example, I dont know if it is true), or Galeleo would have given his life for his research.
Same here just think about it, dont even tell me the answer. See if you can find one for yourself. The person who asked me this question said that if you find an answer for this, you would find peace, and everything else will cease to matter.
To be honest guys, I haven't found an answer for this, and I am a little unhappy about what I am doing in my leisure time. Lets hope that everyone of you finds the answer for this question. Till then, Ciao.

posting from my own sony vaio laptop. So excited abt this cool gadget. Stylish and powerfull and what not. I was waiting for a laptop for almost six months, deciding which one to buy. Finally my bro brought one from US. Sabra ka fal mitha hota hai. :-).

Long Session

Today, I've been online for almost 3-4 hours, very long for a guy like me. Did lot of things, but nothing in perticular. Listened to some Jal songs, man they are superb. These Pakistani bands are better in guitar play than their Indian contemperories, I must admit. Jal, raeth and the more famous one among Indians The Strings. Their guitar play is awesome. But there is one little thing. They get all the fame and name in India, better than their homeland. They all come here for that, but music units. That's what they have done, so full marks to their creativity. Bye everyone.

After A long Time

After a long time I am posting today, that's because my salary cheque cleared today, and boy I am happy. After a long wait of almost 7-8 days, it finally happened. The very first day i received it, I was unable to deposit it, the next day I deposited it and after 3 days what i get to know? 'oh Mr. Abhijeet, your cheque bounced.' great news thank you very much. I went to my boss and asked what's the problem, he did not told me anything emmidiately, but promised to have a look. And when all the banks were closed, he told me 'OK you can redeposit it'. The next day was Saturday and so after 3 days it is clear. So let me decide what to do with my money, till then chao.
